Case Studies (4@75 pts each) | Instead of a Discussion Forum, you will work collaboratively to discuss case studies on weeks that alternate with the quizzes. The purpose of these case studies is to give you practice assigning a diagnosis to a real case. You will provide the appropriate DSM-5-TR diagnosis both by name and code, including all appropriate specifiers. You will also discuss evidence from the case that explains the rationale behind your choice of diagnosis as well as ethical issues that may be related to the diagnosis. You will identify a differential diagnosis, biopsychosocial-spiritual influences, ethno-cultural factors, ethical or safety concerns, and recommended treatment/intervention. You do not need to cite the DSM-5-TR. However, you should add supporting documentation, cite it, and hyperlink to it. Standard spelling, grammar, and punctuation are expected.
